Activists Fear for Safety of People with DisabilitiesAfter Funding for Mobility and Medical Devices Deemed Non-Essential – Toronto Star, April 13, 2020
An article in the Toronto Star about ADP closure during #Covid-19.
Disability and sexuality and even disability and relationships aren’t topics that get talkedabout enough. So I decided to brave the frontier and talk about my journey with sex and relationships and disability on ‘Disability After Dark’.
I’m pretty candid in this, so only listen if you’re okay with knowing things about my relationship that could (for some) count as TMI … or, listen along and skip over the bits that seem too much if you’d rather, since I’d guess there’s only a few minutes of actual talk about sex to the hour and 46 minutes of the podcast. It’s mostly about things like purity culture and its impacts on disability, living in a multiply-disabled family, and the importance of communication to relationships.
