Unmasking with the Values Based Integration Process

Upcoming Race Schedule

It’s time to see what all of that training this summer has done for us.

We’ve got three races that we’re scheduled for coming up, and since it’s always fun to have a cheering squad/support team, sponsors and teammates, I thought I would send out a quick post with the dates so that everyone was ‘in the know’.

We’ll be doing all of these races with MyTeamTriumph Canada, and we’re excited to see ourselves in some of their new photographs! This organization helps to make sport accessible and inclusive for people like me who would otherwise be unable to participate. We’ve been super thrilled to be a part of this organization, and are excited that there will be another two race chairs available for the races this fall.

Race 1: Toronto 5K – Saturday, September 9, 2017

Race 2: RBC Race for the Kids 7K – Saturday, September 16, 2017

Race 3: Toronto Scotiabank Half Marathon – Saturday, October 22, 2017

As an extra bonus, we are hoping to have my NEW CHAIR for at least one if not two of these races!!!

So if anyone is interested in joining us as a support team member, sponsor or teammate, please get in touch and we will make a plan!

About the program

In 2017 I was newly self-diagnosed with atypical autism, struggling with burnout, and striking out when it came to therapists who could address the issues I was facing. At the same time, I was building skills around life coaching, shame reduction, and trauma-informed therapy for work. Gradually I realized that what I needed – an embodied, autonomous, agency-driven coaching approach to unmasking – was not something I was going to find “out there”, but something I was going to need to create if I wanted to recover my life. This was the moment the Values Based Integration Process was born.

Having developed the program for myself – and having seen the incredible results it brought in my own life – I began to use it with coaching clients. The results were out of this world!

After conversations with Dr. Devon Price, the technique was featured in his book Unmasking Autism. With it, came interest in the technique and the decision was made to begin training coaches and therapists to help make this toolkit more readily available.
