Unmasking with the Values Based Integration Process

Towards Wholeness

What if each one of us was created to be a unique, integrated person – with our heart, soul, mind and strength working together to help us to do the things we were created to do and be the person we were made to be?

What if each one of us experienced brokenness – over and over and over again throughout our lives – that made it hard for the different parts of us to work together, and even made it difficult sometimes for us to know what the individual parts had to say?

What if it were possible to bring those elements back together into alignment?

What if it were possible to start to hear and acknowledge what each part of ourselves was saying to us? To assume that our hearts (emotions), souls (connections with the Divine), minds (our intellect and reasoning and thought processes) and strength (our bodies) each had something useful and valuable to contribute to helping us become our best authentic self?

What if it were possible to find a way of living that made us come alive and brought us joy and peace and satisfaction?

What if?

The Unmasking or Values Based Integration Process is rooted in the deep assumption that these “what ifs” are really possible.

About the program

In 2017 I was newly self-diagnosed with atypical autism, struggling with burnout, and striking out when it came to therapists who could address the issues I was facing. At the same time, I was building skills around life coaching, shame reduction, and trauma-informed therapy for work. Gradually I realized that what I needed – an embodied, autonomous, agency-driven coaching approach to unmasking – was not something I was going to find “out there”, but something I was going to need to create if I wanted to recover my life. This was the moment the Values Based Integration Process was born.

Having developed the program for myself – and having seen the incredible results it brought in my own life – I began to use it with coaching clients. The results were out of this world!

After conversations with Dr. Devon Price, the technique was featured in his book Unmasking Autism. With it, came interest in the technique and the decision was made to begin training coaches and therapists to help make this toolkit more readily available.
