Unmasking with the Values Based Integration Process

It’s Been Awhile

Hello everyone!

I know it’s been awhile since I’ve published anything on the website here – especially not on the blog! I spent the last three years working on my masters and it has left VERY little time free for writing things just because I feel like it. However, as of a couple of weeks ago, I have graduated, and I have a little extra time off … at least until I start my PhD in September!

With new chapters comes a need for a new look and a bit of an update around here. I have spent the last week creating a website for my academic world, and if you’ve been following me hoping for more information on that part of my journey, please feel free to hop over to www.heatherreneemorgan.ca to check out what’s up (there will be more coming in the next few months, including a book I’m co-editing and another book I have a chapter in that will hopefully both be published by the end of the year.)

Here at Powered by Love it was time for a change as well. Not only is there a new ‘look and feel’ but there is new focus specifically on coaching training, AND, a couple of new bloggers are going to be joining the roster around here to help provide some new and interesting perspectives on the work of unmasking through the values based integration process.

Finally, all of this comes with the GOOD NEWS that we have announced our next coaching training days – August 10-11, 2023. If you’re interested, head over to the Coaching Training page and get yourself Registered today!

About the program

In 2017 I was newly self-diagnosed with atypical autism, struggling with burnout, and striking out when it came to therapists who could address the issues I was facing. At the same time, I was building skills around life coaching, shame reduction, and trauma-informed therapy for work. Gradually I realized that what I needed – an embodied, autonomous, agency-driven coaching approach to unmasking – was not something I was going to find “out there”, but something I was going to need to create if I wanted to recover my life. This was the moment the Values Based Integration Process was born.

Having developed the program for myself – and having seen the incredible results it brought in my own life – I began to use it with coaching clients. The results were out of this world!

After conversations with Dr. Devon Price, the technique was featured in his book Unmasking Autism. With it, came interest in the technique and the decision was made to begin training coaches and therapists to help make this toolkit more readily available.
