Unmasking with the Values Based Integration Process

Full Circle

As anyone who has a “contact me” link on their website knows, you can get a wide range of excellent queries but also an incredibly high number of SEO offers and spam. Because of that, it can become just one more channel to check in a host of emails, texts, social media accounts and more.

But a couple of weeks ago I opened my “contact me” email only to find something much better than an SEO offer: someone had reached out from Norway and was interested in putting in the work to translate the VBIP program into Norwegian to make it available to people there.

I was very excited – for lots of reasons. First of all, because I always love to hear that the VBIP has made a difference in people’s lives. Secondly, because it’s incredibly exciting to think of the program being translated into another language and made available to folks who can’t access it in English (I certainly can’t translate it myself!)

But the coolest thing about it is that my great-grandfather came from Norway, more than 100 years ago. I mentioned this to the individual who contacted me and as we exchanged emails back and forth, it turns out that not only does he know the tiny hamlet where my great-grandfather came from, his work actually takes him there on a semi-regular basis!

So now – more than 100 years after my family left – the work that I’ve done here in Canada gets to benefit people who may include my extended family.

What an incredible opportunity!

He’s going to be at the next VBIP training on April 19-20 … will you be joining us, too? There’s still time to register! Where could you take this work?

That is SO cool! Ancestor connection is a passion of mine, as is genealogy. I’ve been studying ancestral lineage repair & healing for a few years (Dr. Daniel Foor’s model) and would love to integrate that with coaching autistic folks. I’m AuDHD myself. I’m interested in your August 2024 training and joined the waitlist. Because I need to budget far ahead, could you share the pricing for your training? Thank you!

About the program

In 2017 I was newly self-diagnosed with atypical autism, struggling with burnout, and striking out when it came to therapists who could address the issues I was facing. At the same time, I was building skills around life coaching, shame reduction, and trauma-informed therapy for work. Gradually I realized that what I needed – an embodied, autonomous, agency-driven coaching approach to unmasking – was not something I was going to find “out there”, but something I was going to need to create if I wanted to recover my life. This was the moment the Values Based Integration Process was born.

Having developed the program for myself – and having seen the incredible results it brought in my own life – I began to use it with coaching clients. The results were out of this world!

After conversations with Dr. Devon Price, the technique was featured in his book Unmasking Autism. With it, came interest in the technique and the decision was made to begin training coaches and therapists to help make this toolkit more readily available.
