Unmasking with the Values Based Integration Process

7 Weeks Until Spring VBIP Training

Hey everyone! My name is Jess, and I am a Registered Social Worker and Registered Clinical Counsellor in BC. I was trained in the Values Based Integration Process almost three years ago, in 2023, and I love it even more today than I did when I first got trained because I have been able to use it with so many of my clients over the last three years. The impact has been amazing to witness.

One of my clients described it as a “bottom-up” way of discovering their values, and then applying their values to their life. It has truly been life-changing for my clients to go through the Process, to uncover their values, to find their own capacity for choice, and to embrace a new ability to respond differently, in a way that aligns with their values — not with dysregulating messages.

If you are unsure about registering for one of the next trainings, I invite you to reach out to me with any questions or concerns (using the contact info. below)! I am passionate about the Process, and I am happy to answer questions about it and talk about any aspect of it. I will also be assisting Heather with both of the VBIP trainings this year, and I would love to see you there!

The 3-Day Spring Training in the Values Based Integration Process is now 7 weeks away. As a reminder, 30 participants are required to run each training.

About the program

In 2017 I was newly self-diagnosed with atypical autism, struggling with burnout, and striking out when it came to therapists who could address the issues I was facing. At the same time, I was building skills around life coaching, shame reduction, and trauma-informed therapy for work. Gradually I realized that what I needed – an embodied, autonomous, agency-driven coaching approach to unmasking – was not something I was going to find “out there”, but something I was going to need to create if I wanted to recover my life. This was the moment the Values Based Integration Process was born.

Having developed the program for myself – and having seen the incredible results it brought in my own life – I began to use it with coaching clients. The results were out of this world!

After conversations with Dr. Devon Price, the technique was featured in his book Unmasking Autism. With it, came interest in the technique and the decision was made to begin training coaches and therapists to help make this toolkit more readily available.
